Ghanaians charged to manage waste

Ghanaians have been charged to see waste as a viable resource which when well managed could be turned into other resources and create employment for the youth.

The MCE of Ga South, Jerry Acquaye Thompson stated this in Accra as he lamented the overwhelming waste which has engulfed some parts of Accra.

He said the word waste has become a derogatory term and that is why people do not see its value.

It is also for the same reason that people are recklessly dumping refuse in drains and inappropriate places.
