President Mahama To Retain Seat In 2016 Despite Overwhelming Endorsement Of Nana Addo – NDC Greater Accra

The Greater Accra Regional Propaganda Secretary of the NDC, Nii Dodoo Dodoo has expressed optimism of President Mahama retaining his seat in 2016 despite the overwhelming endorsement of Nana Akufo Addo by the NPP as its flagbearer. 

He said President Mahama has performed creditably despite the many challenges. 

Nii Dodoo was addressing a news conference in Accra to announce his bid to contest the National Propaganda Secretary slot of the NDC. 

He urged delegates to the upcoming National Delegates conference of the party to elect tried and tested people to the helm of affairs to ward off the expected stiff opposition.

Meanwhile, the NDC in Ododiodoo has finally held its constituency conference which was held up due to a court injunction.

A business Executive, Nii Oblie Laryea beat the incumbent, Nii Okai Okine to clinch the chairmanship.

Joseph Otoo, Accra Metropolitan NADMO co-ordinator was elected unopposed as Secretary with Naa Koshie Golightly as his Deputy, Mavis Manugbor was elected women's organizer with Yakubu Commodore as the Youth organiser.
