Shatta Wale charged to refrain from defaming Charter House

Dancehall artiste and Ghana Music Awards, Artiste of the year, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, alias Shatta Wale, has been charged to refrain from repeating any further statement defaming event outfit Charter House.

This follows the grant of an interlocutory injunction by the Fast Track High Court in Accra.

The application filed on October 2, by Chief Executive Officer of Charter House, Iyiola Ayoade, and Charter House itself as a second plaintiff, sought among other things, an order restraining Shatta Wale or his assigns from repeating the defamatory statements or similar statements in his released videos online on the 23rd and 24th of last month.
