The Daily Graphic believes the time has come for people to discern falsehood from the truth. It describes how dangerous false prophets are particularly as they appear to be genuine. The paper commends the Christian Council of Ghana for drawing public attention to some of the negative activities of religious leaders. It agrees with the Christian Council that some of the excesses of religion are caused by so called men of God who lack balanced understanding of the Bible and the teachings of Christ. The Graphic thinks the onus is on the Council to bring order to the house of God by sanctioning members who engage in false teachings. 

The Ghanaian Times is content that the newly appointed Executive Director of National Service Scheme, Dr Kpessah Whyte will restore the service to its original mandate under the National service Scheme Act.  The paper says Dr Kpessah does not need tutorials to handle his mandate. According to the paper, Dr Kpessah faces the herculean task of sanitising the N.S.S. The paper notes that the appointment of Dr Kpessah demonstrates the President's confidence in his staffers, as well as young professionals of the country whom he continues to empower as future leaders. The appointment further throws light on the President's determination to fight corruption, having endorsed the suspension of former NSS Boss. It reminds Dr Kpessah Whyte that corruption is a major threat to governance and democracy, and his focus should be on how to fight corruption at all levels of the scheme in order to promote good public governance. 

The Today Newspaper is happy that President Mahama has directed the Chief Justice, Justice Mrs Georgina Wood to investigate the alleged corruption against the commissioner of CHRAJ. The paper says it was worried about the President's silence on the matter, especially after several anti-corruption campaigners called for the CHRAJ Boss to be probed. The Today Newspaper says now that the President has acted on the matter, it urges the Chief Justice to act with all the sense of urgency.
