President Mahama calls for concerted effort to fight Ebola President John Mahama has called for concerted effort to fight the deadly Ebola viral disease. He said the Ebola virus is not a problem for West Africa alone but a global disease that knows NO boundaries. President Mahama was addressing the 69th UN General Assembly in New York. President Mahama who is the Chairman of ECOWAS announced that Ghana has offered its capital as a base of operations for activities towards the containment of the disease.
