Ecologist and Environmental Scientist warns of grave consequence of global warming

Climate change is not a far-off problem as it is happening now and having real impact on people's lives.

This makes the UN Secretary-General's invitation to world leaders, government, finance, business, and civil society to the 2014 Climate Summit more relevant.

It is in this context that an Ecologist and Environmental change Scientist, Dr Delalie Dovie bemoans the extent of impact of global warming and change in life support systems.

According to the Natural Science Expert, many other factors contribute to the changes being experienced in the developing world, which need attention.

Mr Dovie cautioned the media not to act as experts in every field including climate change which in particular requires some in depth training and interaction with scientists.
