Government Asked To Investigate Waning Interest Of Reading Amongst Students The Association of Writers is calling on government to investigate the waning interest in reading which is affecting the performance of students in examinations. The Association believes such a step will demonstrate government's commitment and interest in arresting the waning reading culture in Ghana. The President of the Association Kwesi Gyan-Apenteng made the call at the 4th Ghana Association of Writers Book Festival in Accra. Mr. Apenteng said emphasis must be placed on redirecting values to prioritize reading. Source: GBC
