Completion of Digital Migration Platform Expected to Generate More Income for GBC The Director-General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, GBC, Major Retired Albert Don-Chebe, says the digital migration platform when complete will help the Corporation to generate more income to cater for its developmental projects. He said although Ghana's migration unto the platform will increase the level of competition with other stations in terms of coverage area, the advantages GBC stands to have outweighs the disadvantages. Major Rtd Don-Chebe said this when he paid a working visit to Obonu FM to interact with the workforce, as well as share ideas for the way forward. He was accompanied by his Deputy, Mrs. Francisca Ashietey-Odunton and the Human Resource Director, John Korasare. Major Rtd Don-Chebe said the Corporation can only undertake its own projects if it is able to improve upon its internal revenue base which includes the managing of the digital platform. The Obonu Regional Director, Mrs. Clare Banoeng-Yakubo, for her part, said the Station is still progressing with its quality programmes; and as such, particular attention should be given to the Station to enable her to increase her revenue base.
