Former Chief of Staff Doubts Viability of Proposed National Airline but Former Pilot Disagrees

A Former Chief of Staff in the Kufour administration, Kojo Mpianim, says government's move to establish a national airline is not economically viable. 

He said the present competitive nature of airline business does not make it a profitable venture. 

But, a former Pilot with the defunct Ghana Airways, Emmanuel Odoi Woolley, says a national airline devoid of governmental control is economically viable. 

He is optimistic that a national carrier can equally compete in the growing and competitive industry.
