The Daily Graphic discusses the new national airline initiative by government. The paper says it is excited that the Ministry of Transport has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Bank and PWC Ghana to begin technical services for the setting up of a new national airline. The paper says the decision by government to venture into public-private partnership, PPP is commendable. The Graphic is hopeful that the involvement of the private sector in the running of any future national airline will curtail mismanagement, adding that it is optimistic that lessons learnt from the failure of running the previous national airline will guide the establishment of the new one.
 
The Ghanaian Times writes on the Cholera outbreak nationwide. It says the manner in which hospitals in the capital, particularly Korle-Bu and La General Hospitals are turning away Cholera patients who actually need critical healthcare is alarming. The paper says the inauguration of the Sanitation Standards Implementation Committee by the AMA to sensitise residents to the Cholera pandemic came in late because the committee should have served as a preventive mechanism and not curative.

The Daily Heritage says latest reports by the National Road Safety Commission speak of a reduction in lives being lost on our roads in the wake of the country keeping at bay the Ebola virus and the ravaging cholera outbreak. It says Ghanaians must be guided by data in all activities to increase engagements with stakeholders on strategic regional concerns and step-up advocacy and awareness.

Business And Financial Times  says the number of candidates which failed this year's West African Senior Secondary Examination, WASSCE can be likened to a national disaster. The paper believes the Ghana Education Service should take serious view of the outcome and convene a meeting to find out the abysmal performance.
