Tamale: Killer Tricycles

It is on record that every month at least ten people die from accidents involving tricycles, popularly known as “motor king” in Tamale. The tricycles which were originally designed to carry light goods are now carrying passengers in many parts of the Northern Region. GBC24’s Abdul Hayi Moomen reports that the tricycles are operated by unprofessional and often underage riders while road safety officials and the police look on helplessly.
