Minister expresses resolve to focus more on lesser known minerals

The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Nii Osa Mills has expressed his Ministry's resolve to focus more on lesser known minerals, with special emphasis on salt mining. 

He said Ghana has placed so much attention on gold and other top minerals to the detriment of salt which is a valuable asset for economic transformation in neighbouring countries like Senegal and Nigeria. 

The minister said this when he paid an industrial visit to the Head Office of the Minerals Commission in Accra.
