Tertiary Institutions Directed To Resume Next Wednesday Government through the inter-Ministerial Team on Ebola has fixed the 27th of this month as the new re-opening date for all tertiary institutions. The date was arrived at after the team assessed preparedness measures of public and private tertiary institutions. The re-opening date was postponed because of fear of possible outbreak of Ebola. A statement signed by the Minister of Education, Prof Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, urges all tertiary institutions to share their preparedness plan with the Ministry of Education by the 25th of this month. The team also hinted that all front line health professionals working with tertiary institutions will be provided with personal protective equipment in due course. Government promises to provide further information on Ebola in the fight against the disease. GBC
