Eight hospitals in Volta Region receive supplies to improve healthcare delivery

Eight hospitals in the Volta Region have received medical supplies to help improve health care especially in the rural areas. 

These include Krachi West, Nkwanta South, Jasikan and Kpedze district hospitals. 

The First Lady, Lordina Mahama who made the donation at separate events in the region was concerned about the cholera outbreak in the country and the Ebola in the sub-region. 

She stressed the need for all to prepare for any eventuality. 

Mrs Lordina advised the people to take public education and the awareness being created about Ebola seriously.
