Afriyie Ankrah to face Commission today

The former Minister of Youth and Sports, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, will this morning  appear before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry chaired by Mr. Justice Senyo Dzamefe.

He has been invited by the commission to give evidence on the organisation of supporters and sports ambassadors to Brazil for Ghana's third World Cup participation.

Appearing alongside Mr. Afriyie Ankrah is Fred Darkowho was the chairman of the Planning committee, as well as the project Director at the World Cup secretariat.

Last week, the commission sought for details on how supporters and ambassadors were organized to Brazil by Ministry officials and the former Minister was mentioned as the one on top of that issue.
