Ministry of Foreign Affairs Begins Workshops To Come Out With A Diaspora Engagement Policy

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has begun the first of its series of workshops to take inputs from stakeholders to enable it to come out with a diaspora engagement policy for the country. 

The policy which is expected to be in place by the end of next year, is to offer a clear direction for investment and make it easier for Ghanaians in the diaspora to work in the country. 

Speaking at the start of the policy drafting process, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hannah Tetteh said the policy will be incorporated into the New Ghana Shared Growth and Development Agenda being developed by the National Development Planning Commission, NDPC
