Ghana Share Spoils with Gabon in Tense Draw

Ghana and Gabon kept their hopes of an Africa Youth Championship place alive with a point apiece from the first leg in Accra today/yesterday. 

The next 90 minutes of the second leg will prove crucial for both sides. 

They played a goalless draw game at the Accra Sports Stadium. 

With a point apiece, the return game in Libreville in a fortnight will certainly determine which side qualifies for the Championship. 

Coach Sellas Tetteh is hopeful Ghana will sail through. 

However, the winner of the two-leg third round qualifier will advance to the finals to be staged by Senegal. 

Seven winners will join host, Senegal for the Championship slated for 8th to 22nd March next year.
