70% Of Invoices Submitted By Importers are Fake 
 
About 70 percent of invoices submitted by importers at the ports are fake causing loss of revenue to state. 

The Integrity of some revenue collectors and officials of Destination Inspection Companies are also questionable. 

The outgoing Minister of Trade and Industry, Harunah Iddrisu, made the statement when he addressed importers at a forum in Accra. 

He said adoption of an electronic system at the ports will help address tax evasion.
