Umaro Sanda Salif [Twin City Radio] Umaro Sanda Salif a.k.a “The Radio Prince” was born on 9th May, 1975 to Mr. Salifu Adam and Madam Zainab Tani Tahiru, all deceased now. There are three boys in the family and Umaro is the eldest. Umaro has been a reporter and programme presenter at Twin City Radio of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation since 1999. Twin City Radio is based in Takoradi, the regional capital of Western Region of Ghana. Umaro is a hard working personality, versatile and a utility reporter. At Twin City Radio presents Words of Hope. Not only that, he also presents almost all the Sports Programmes on the network. He also does sports commentary both in English and Akan and presentation of entertainment news. Umaro also presents news items in Hausa. At the moment, Umaro is also the host of the programme, Drive Express, host of Thank God it’s Friday, Host of Aqecda, a religious Islamic programme and the regional sports correspondent of Radio Ghana. Umaro also presents musical programmes and conducts interview. Umaro Sanda Salifu a.k.a the Radio Prince is humble, very intelligent, dedicated, ready to learn at anytime and above all very responsible and hardworking. Umaro likes children, friendship, reading, music, sports, nature, investigative and adventurous movies, etc. His hope and aspiration is to become the greatest lawyer, Building Technologist, communication specialist and greatest sports commentator both on radio and television in the world.
