Tema General Hospital confirms one suspected signs and symptoms of Ebola disease

The Tema Metropolitan Health Director, Dr. John Yabani has confirmed that one person was admitted to the isolation ward of the Tema General Hospital last night with suspected signs and symptoms of the Ebola disease. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Dr Yabani said the patient’s blood sample has been sent to the Noguchi Memorial Research Center. 

He assured residents that the Tema Metro Health Directorate is on top of the situation and will ensure that the disease does not spread, should the results prove positive.
