The Ghanaian Times is calling for the creation of HIV/AIDS and Ebola units at risk communities across the country.  This to the paper should be accompanied by sustained public education campaigns to prevent anxiety among the public. Though the country is yet to record a single case of Ebola, the Times believes concrete actions rather than mere rhetorics should be employed by stakeholders to contain the spread of these deadly diseases. 

The Daily Graphic congratulates the Bawku Municipal Health Directorate on setting up an Ebola Response Team to execute the hospital's plan to prevent residents of the area from being infected. The paper urges all regional and district health directorates to follow the Bawku example to ensure that the Ebola disease is kept at bay. The Graphic hopes the Ministry of Health will provide all health facilities the needed logistics to fight the disease. 

The Daily Heritage complains about strike by POTAG and UTAG. It says drawing battle lines and issuing threats on both sides is not the solution to the problem but rather dialogue is the answer. The paper says it does not matter how long it takes, government must continue to engage the lecturers to resolve the matter since already students are being used as sacrificial lamb again to disrupt the academic calendar.
