Three-Day Ceasefire Agreement Between Isreal And Palestinian.

A fresh three-day ceasefire agreed between Israel and the Palestinian faction Hamas in Gaza is in force. 

The agreement, which began midnight yesterday came after days of intense mediation by Egypt. 

If the truce continues to hold, Israel will send negotiators to Cairo today for talks on a longer-term deal. 

It is the second of such ceasefire to be announced over the course of the conflict, the last one ended last Friday.
