STMA Has Intensified Efforts In Cleaning Of Filth In The City.

In the wake of the Ebola and Cholera scare, the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, has intensified efforts at cleaning the city of filth through a massive decongestion exercise. 

The excercise consist of clearing the central business district of unauthorized trade activities. 

It also targeted food vendors especially fruit and vegetable venders in filthy surroundings. 

The Head of the Waste Management Department of the assembly, John Gorkemiah spoke to our correspondent in Sekondi, Desmond Cudjoe about the extra measures put in place to sustain cleanliness in the city.
