UCC Postpones Reopening Date Indefinitely University of Cape Coast (UCC)has indefinitely postponed its re-opening date due to what management describe as “circumstance beyond their control. The University was scheduled to have re-opened on the 2nd August, 2014 for fresh students and 9th August, 2014 for continuing students. In a statement signed by the registrar new re-opening arrangements will be announced later. Meanwhile students are entreated to keep checking in the electronic and print media as well the University website for updates. Though reason for the postponement was not clearly stated, it is believed that it is as a result of the strike by University lecturers of which lecturers at UCC are members. GBC
