Legal expert justifies NACOB’s debriefing of Former Nkoranza MP, Eric Amoateng The President of Legal Advocacy Foundation, Dr Morris Ampah says Narcotic Control Board - NACOB's debriefing of former MP for Nkoranza, Eric Amoateng is legal and falls within the confines of the law. He said Amoateng cannot be tried again for the same offence. Amoateng returned to Ghana on Thursday after serving a 10 year jail term for illegal possession of 136 pounds of heroin estimated at about six million dollars. After brief checks at the Accra airport, he was whisked away for further interrogation at the Narcotic Control Board Headquarters. Dr Ampah said NACOB can possibly confiscate Mr Amoateng's properties that are believed to have been acquired through the narcotic trade. GBC
