Philippine Enforce Evacuation Of Its Citizens The Philippine government says it is enforcing mandatory evacuation of its citizens in Libya in response to the extremely unstable political and security situation in the country. According to the country's Department of Foreign Affairs, some 13 thousand Filipinos will be evacuated as soon as possible. The Department says, travel and deployment of workers in Libya has been banned. Filipinos in Libya, mostly working as construction and healthcare workers, have been asked to contact the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli for instructions regarding mass evacuation. Source: XINHUA
