The Ordained have completed seven years as Seminarians and will now be posted to work in various Parishes ans Deaneries within the the Arch Diocese. The Ordination of the seven brings to 133 the total number of Priests working within the Kumasi Arch Diocese. Among the new Priests was twin brothers. They are Reverend Fathers Stephen Baidoo Senior and Stephen Baidoo Junior from the Nkenkaasu Parish. In a Homely, the Arch Bishop of Kumasi, Most Rev. Justice Gabriel Anokye, reminded ministers of the gospel, especially Catholic priests of their responsibilities to promote peace in society, show love, care and kindness to all who come to them, particularly members of the their congregation. They must also not forget to preach the word of salvation. Most Rev. Anokye told them, however, that in doing their duties, however, they should avoid scewing the divine word of God to suit their interest. For this reason, the priests must always depend on God for divine guidance and direction in the discharge of their work. The Archbishop asked the newly Ordained Priests to respect members of the respective congregations and shun favouritism ans partiality while telling the truth at all times. Most Rev. Anokye urged them also to prioritize evangelism and visitation so as to keep in constant touch with their members and increase their membership. Also at the Ordination Mass was the immediate past Kumasi Arch Bishop, Most Rev. Thomas Kwaku Mensah. GBC
