The Minority leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu was concerned about the attrition rate at the Majority leader position in the House, noting that the trend undermines the growth of the House. He also observed that the House is increasingly becoming polarized. The out-going Majority Leader Dr. Benjamin Kunbour who has been nominated to the Defence Ministry thanked the MPs for their cooperation during his tenure as the Minister in charge of government Business in the House. The Speaker Edward Adjaho thanked the MPs, the Parliamentary staff and the Press Corps for their cooperation and support during the meeting. He also gave reasons for the early recess.
