Call on Parliament to pass Freedom of Expression, Right to information Bill

A call has gone to Parliament to pass the Freedom of Expression and Right to information Bill. 

This is to promote transparency and accountability in governance. 

AU Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression and Access to Information in Africa, Pansy Tlakula said this during an interaction with the media in Accra. 

Even though she was of the view that the bill should be passed, she stressed that there should be limitations to access to information to ensure national security. 

Miss Tlakula urged Senior Journalists to empower the upcoming ones to promote professionalism.
