South Africa World Cup 2010 Revisited 

Exactly four years ago, Ghana’s Black Stars received massive support from African spectators during their second group game against their Australian counterparts at the South Africa 2010 World Cup. 

Clad in Ghana national colours, these spectators cheered on the Stars from the start to the end of the game. 

According Radio Ghana’s Rosemary Gaisie who witnessed that Saturday -June 21, 2010 match in Rustenburg, the Ghana flag was no longer a national identity, but a continental representation in and around the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.
