Government assures Black Stars ahead of Sudan clash 

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, has assured Black Stars players of governments support for them to qualify for next year’s world cup in Brazil. 

He was present for his first Black Stars training session since taking office. 

All 23 members of the Black Stars squad arrived in Kumasi for Sunday's 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Sudan. 

Kwesi Appiah and his team arrived in the Ashanti Regional capital on Wednesday afternoon to continue with preparations after one workout in Accra the day before.
