NIA allays fears over mass registration of foreigners The National Identification Authority, NIA, has allayed fears of foreign nationals that the on going exercise is to repatriate them. The Authority said the exercise is to have correct data on the nationals living in Ghana. Speaking to Radio Ghana, its Executive Secretary, Dr. William Ahadzi noted that foreign nationals are supposed to pay an amount to enable the Authority to issue them with the card. He noted that a similar approach will be used to register Ghanaians who were unable to register during the mass registration. GBC
