Government Supports $ 10m Solar Energy Project In Deprived Communities A solar photo voltage sub-component of the Ghana Energy Development and access project is underway in the country. It is a project that is expected to complement government's efforts in achieving its goals to extend electricity to communities which do not have power. An expert in off-grid solar installation and marketing, Frank Yeboah Dadzie, told Cecil Obodai Wuntum in an interview that more than ten thousand solar systems would be fixed in such deprived communities. The project is being financed by the ARB APEX Bank at a coast of ten million dollars. Mr. Dadzie said the project which is being supported by government is now being piloted in some communities in the North. GBC
