South African Police Face Murder Charges

Eight South African policemen accused of murder after a taxi driver was dragged behind a police van, have appeared in court for a bail hearing. 

They face charges of murdering Mozambican taxi driver Mido Macia, 27, in nearby Daveyton on 26 of last month.

 A small crowd of protesters were outside the court to oppose bail for the accused.
