Repeal of criminal libel law is basic element of democracy - Expert

A Journalist and Communications Consultant, Dr. Doris Yaa Dartey says the repeal of the Criminal Libel Law has been the basic element of Ghana's democracy.  

She said journalism in Ghana will evolve with time irrespective of the excesses. 

Dr.Yaa Dartey who was speaking on ‘Behind the News’, believes politicians should also be blamed if the country is thrown into chaos.
