Mobile Processing Plant To Be Established In Volta Region

Plans are far advanced for the Volta Regional Development Authority to establish a Mobile Fruit Juice Processing Plant in the Southern part of the Volta Region to help arrest post harvest losses particularly fruits and vegetables.

The multimillion dollar plant, if established will process about 500 kilogrammes of produce per hour.
 
The Volta Regional Minister Henry Ford Kamel disclosed this at Ziope in the Agortime-Ziope district of the Volta Region at a durbar of the chiefs and people of Ziope traditional area to climax their Agbleza, literary meaning “Farm Festival”.
