PAC says it has the right to summon Woyome

The Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament, PAC, Albert Kan Dapaah says, the Committee went through the right procedure in summoning Businessman, Alfred Agbesi Woyome before it.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, he noted that persons, who are creating the impression that the Committee has no authority to summon the Businessman, should acquaint themselves with the procedures of Parliament on such matters.

Mr. Kan Dapaah indicated that, the Committee is waiting for the official response from the office of the Speaker of Parliament through whose office a letter was sent to the Inspector General of Police.
