NADMO sends rapid respond team to affected spill areas at Bagre

The National Disaster Management Organisation, NADMO, is sending a team from the Rapid Respond Squad and the 48 Engineer Regiment to the areas that will be affected by the spillage of the Bagre and Kopengo Dams in Burkina Faso which has began.

The step is to help avert any possible destruction to property and lives.

The Upper East Regional Coordinator, Patrick Akake who dropped this hint to Radio Ghana said enough awareness has been raised for the people to move upstream to safeguard lives and property.

Similarly farmers have been asked to harvest produce that are matured.
