USA to continue Programmes despite the death of Prof. Atta Mills and Meles Zenawi of Ethiopia The outgoing US Ambassador to Ghana, Donald Teitlebaum says America will continue to pursue all programmes initiated with Ghana and Ethiopia inspite of the death of Prof. Atta Mills and Meles Zenawi of Ethiopia. Before their death, the two leaders were at the G8 summit in the US in May this year and Ghana and Ethiopia were selected to benefit from a three billion dollar facility for the implementation of the New Alliance for Food Security and Nutrition. In an interview with Radio Ghana, Ambassador Teitlebaum said the death of the two Heads of State though tragic, they were eager to improve agriculture to get millions of people out of poverty and enhance their nutritional status.
