NHIS reacts to comments by Nana Akuffo Addo

The National Health Insurance Authority has been reacting to comments by the flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Akuffo Addo, that the NHIS has collapsed under the ruling NDC. 

The Chief Executive of the NHIA, Sylvester Mensah said Nana Addo displayed total ignorance about the current status of the scheme. 

He said the scheme is functioning better now than it was in 2008 when they took over.

Mr. Mensah was said this in an interview with Radio Ghana in Accra.
