ARB automated under Apex Bank’s Computerization Programme

The Acting Managing Director of the Avenor Rural Bank, ARB, Apex Bank, Duke Osam-Duodu has announced that 135 rural banks out the 750 in the country have been automated under the ARB Apex Bank’s Computerization Programme which begun in 2010.

He however noted that the programme has a lot of operational challenges and high running cost which they are working to resolve.

Mr.Osam-Duodu said, this in a speech read on his behalf at the 29th Annual General Meeting of the Avenor Rural Bank held at Akatsi in the Volta Region.
