Volta Region: President Mahama promises to work on projects late President Mills initiated President John Mahama has assured the Chiefs and people of the Volta Region that he will continue to work on the Eastern corridor road and the University of Health and Allied Sciences which late President Mills initiated. The President also called on all Ghanaians to support him to sustain the legacies that the late President left behind. President Mahama said this in Ho when he addressed a dubar to climax his thank you tour. The President thanked the people of the Region for the show of love and solidarity during the funeral of late President Atta Mills. President John Dramani Mahama also announced that Ten million dollars has been sourced and approved by China as part of the three billion dollar China Development Bank facility to expand and build additional infrastructure at the University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ho. The move is to equip the university and position it to meet international standards. The University of Health and Allied Sciences has already admitted students and will start operation next month. GBC
