NORSEC beefs up security following violent clashes 

The Northern Regional Security Committee has beefed up security in and around the Tamale Metropolis following the violent skirmishes between the Al Sunna and Tijanniya Muslim sects during the celebration of the Eid-Ul-Fitr on Sunday. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Northern Regional Minister Bukari Mabengba said the leaders of the two sects as well as two radio stations that incited the people have been invited by the police.
