RDT's to test malaria confirmation before treatment

To further reduce the high malaria burden in Africa including Ghana, a suggestion has been made to health authorities to co-ordinate the purchase of Rapid DiagnosticTest Kits,( RDT's) with that of anti-malarials to enable more people to test and confirm malaria before treatment.

A leading Malarialogist, Prof. Fred Binka who is also Vice Chancellor of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, UHAS gave this suggestion.
