President Mahama's Nationwide Thank You Tour arrives in Volta Region

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in the Volta region as part of his Nationwide Thank You Tour.

A large crowd welcomed President John Mahama at Sogakope and Dabala in the South Tongu District. Addressing a mini durbar at Dabala, the President promised continuity of projects. In Sogakope, President Mahama urged Ghanaians to continue to remain united and avoid conflicts ahead of the upcoming elections. 

President Mahama also sympathised with the families affected by the recent tidal waves at Anyanui and Dzita Akplowotokor in the Volta Region.  

He said government will put comprehensive measures to prevent another wave.  

He again stressed the need for government to continue with the work of the late President Mills.

President Mahama is on his third leg Nationwide Thank You Tour after visiting the Central and the Western Regions.
