Central Region tones down on festivities in honour of late President Mills 

The Central Region has decided to tone down on all festival activities in honour of Late President Mills, who was an illustrious son of the region.  

The President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs Daasebre Kweebu Ewusi, announced this at a durbar of Chiefs and people to round off the Central regional tour of President John Mahama.

He said festivities will be limited to rituals like stool cleansing. He also congratulated President Mahama for nominating Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur as Vice President. 

Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi pledged the unflinching support of the Chiefs and people of the region in pushing forward the legacy the late President left .
