KATH to identify services not covered by NHIS

Management of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, KATH, has encouraged all directorates and units at the hospital to identify services that are not covered by the National Health Insurance Scheme and render such services purely on fees for service basis. 

This initiative, according to Management may partially help to generate extra funds to meet some maintenance and other immediate needs of the directorates. 

The Chief Executive of KATH, Professor Ohene Agyei, made the call at a mid-year performance review workshop of the hospital, in Kumasi.
