Road Safety Commission launches Awards in Accra

The National Road Safety Commission says Ghana lost 1.6 % of its gross domestic product, to road traffic accidents in 2010.

This translates to $ 480m in losses to the State. As part of efforts to avert this situation, the Commission has launched a National Road Safety Awards in Accra with a focus on Sustainable Road Transportation System.
