African Leaders, Government Delegations Extol Late President Mills’ Virtues 

African Leaders and other Government delegations from around the world that paid their last respects to late President Mills have extolled his virtues. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana after they had filed past his remains, the Leaders said the sense of responsibility and dedication of President Mills to the cause of peace set him apart from his peers. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana, the Chairman of the AU and President of Benin, Yayi Boni said he took inspiration from President Mills. 

The President of Cote d'Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara said the death of President Mills is a great loss to the world especially ECOWAS which he chairs. 

The Deputy Prime Minister of Swaziland, Themba Masuku said President Mills’ death came rather too soon. 

The Equatorial Guinea President, Theodore Nguema Mbasogo who spoke through an interpreter said the whole of Africa mourns professor Mills. 

A representative of the French President, Francois Hollande said President Mills was a huge model for Africa. 

Lastly, the Deputy Italian Foreign Minister, Marta Dassu who led a European delegation that the World stands in awe at the feat the country has chalked up.
