Thousands Of Mourners Queue To Pay Last Respects To Late Professor Mills At State House 

Various groups and individuals continue to file past the body of the late President John Evans Atta Mills at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra. 

Among those who filed past were members of the National House of Chiefs, Old Achimotans, the Prisons Service and members of the Ghana Bar Association. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana, the President of the National House of Chiefs, Naa Professor John Nabilla, said the death of Professor Mills should be a wake up call for Ghanaians, before, during and after the elections. 

Naa Professor Nabilla said calls for the autopsy report of President Mills are unnecessary, rather Ghanaians must support President Mahama and the bereaved family. 

A member of the Ghana Bar Association and former Attorney General, Joe Ghartey, said the death of President Mills should remind Ghanaians that this world is but a stage. 

A Deputy Minister of Works and Housing, Dr Hanna Bissiw could not hide her tears after filling past the body of Professor Mills. 

Meanwhile, some old Achimotans have been speaking to Radio Ghana about who the late President John Mills was. 

Adorned with the schools black and white cloth, a large number of them took turns to pay their last respects to the old boy of the School. 

The late president was described as someone who exhibited the quality of calmness. 

As the mourning of late President Mills enters day two, a cross section of the public including Taxi drivers and Hair Dressers continue to laud the President for his achievements in all sectors of the economy, citing construction of roads and his calm disposition.
